Terms of Service

By creating an account or using InternNow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the InternNow platform.

InternNow is an internship tracking and AI-powered career preparation tool designed for university business students. Features include application tracking, AI interview preparation, job opportunity discovery, and career briefing generation.

InternNow is currently a student project in active development. Features may change, and the service is provided on a best-effort basis.

InternNow is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university, college, or business school — including Virginia Tech, the ACC member institutions, or their business schools. References to any university, school, employer, or brand are for identification and descriptive purposes only and do not imply any partnership or endorsement.

You must be at least 16 years old and enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or college program to use InternNow. By signing up, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account with other people.
• You must notify us immediately at support@internnow.org if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree not to:

• Use InternNow for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any feature.
• Abuse AI features by submitting prompts designed to generate harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service or its AI-generated outputs without permission.

InternNow uses AI to generate interview questions, answer feedback, career briefs, and other content. This content is for practice and informational purposes only.

• AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.
• Interview questions and feedback are AI simulations, not actual firm assessments.
• We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated advice.

The InternNow platform, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by the InternNow team. You retain ownership of any data you create in the app (your applications, notes, and contacts).

You grant InternNow a limited license to use your data to provide the service, including passing relevant context to AI models to personalize your experience.

InternNow is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• That AI-generated content (interview prep, coaching, briefs, career guidance) is accurate, complete, current, or will help you get a job. It is for practice and informational purposes only and is not professional career, financial, or legal advice.
• That job listings, internships, deadlines, compensation figures, or other opportunities shown are current, accurate, still open, or available. Listings are gathered from third-party sources and may be outdated or change without notice.

Application links may direct you to third-party websites we do not control. You are responsible for verifying any role, deadline, and employer before applying. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites or postings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InternNow and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities or career outcomes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in harmful behavior. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
